Student Growth
These two reports are growth summaries in Star Reading and Star Math on a student that I have been tutoring since Feburary. Mason is a 2nd grade student at an Elementary in Southern Ohio. He was placed there for behavior issues and also has been diagnosed with cancer. He is very intelligent but needed improvement in fluency, compound words, and the letters b and d. While working with Mason, we have addressed and began to correct these deficiencies, in which he has shown vast improvement.
In Math, Mason is exceptional in addition, subtraction, money, and measurement. His weakness is solving word problems. We have been constucting new ways for him to solve the new common core by using different techniques to ensure success.
